Girls Football Trials UK runs Girls Football Trials (https://girlsfootballtrials.com). We are the controller of personal data collected through this site. Contact: girlsfootballtrialsuk@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

Messages and forms. If you contact us, list a club or send a review, we collect the details you type in (such as name, email and message) to reply and, for reviews, to verify them. Our legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in running the directory. We keep this only as long as needed to deal with your message.

Club listings. Directory listings contain organisation-level information from public sources (club name, town, age groups, website). We do not publish the names, phone numbers or personal emails of volunteers. Reviews. Reviews are read by a person before publication. We publish only a first name, role and the review text; your email is never published. To have a listing corrected or removed, contact us.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not currently use analytics cookies. Club pages embed Google Maps, which may set its own cookies; see Google's privacy policy.

Sharing your data

We do not sell personal data. Service providers that host the site, process forms or provide analytics act on our instructions. Form submissions are processed by Netlify and stored in a private Google Sheet used to send you a confirmation email and to check trials and reviews before they are published. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct, delete or restrict the use of your data, object to its use, or withdraw consent. Email us and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

This site is for players, parents and coaches. If you are under 13, please ask a parent or carer to contact clubs and use our forms on your behalf.
